Academic Programs & Career Readiness
Advanced Academics and AP Courses
Angleton High School offers more than 20 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, giving motivated students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. In addition to AP offerings, students can participate in dual-credit programs in partnership with local colleges, which helps reduce future tuition costs and accelerate post-secondary success.
The school's academic culture emphasizes critical thinking, real-world application, and preparation for both four-year universities and technical career paths.
Career and Technical Education (CTE)
A major highlight of the campus is its state-of-the-art Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility. Students can explore hands-on learning in growing fields of health science, welding, agriculture, business, and technology.
These structured career pathways allow students to graduate with industry-recognized certifications, workforce experience, and a competitive edge in today's job market.
